Our Mission

The Daly Elementary PTA is committed to building a strong, welcoming, and supportive school community where every child, family, and staff member feels valued, heard, and connected.  Our mission is to bring families, teachers, staff, and our community together as one village to create meaningful opportunities that enrich our students’ educational experience, support their well-being, and help every child reach their full potential.  We believe that every family has something valuable to contribute. Whether through volunteering, membership, financial support, sharing ideas, attending events, or simply staying connected, every contribution makes a difference.  

Together, we can turn a school community into a village—and a village into a stronger future for our children.  

Our Goals

1. Build a Stronger Daly Community: Create a welcoming environment where all families feel that they belong and are encouraged to participate, regardless of their schedule, background, or level of involvement.

2. Strengthen Family Engagement: Make it easier for parents and caregivers to stay informed and connected with what is happening at Daly Elementary, while creating meaningful opportunities to participate in their children’s education and school experience.

3. Support Our Students: Provide programs, activities, and experiences that enhance learning, encourage creativity, celebrate achievement, and create lasting memories for our students.

4. Support the Well-Being of Our Children: Promote resources and initiatives that support students’ social, emotional, and mental well-being, while also connecting families with helpful parenting and community resources.

5. Support Our Teachers & Staff: Recognize, appreciate, and support the educators and staff members who dedicate themselves every day to our children. We want our teachers and staff to know that Daly families are behind them.

6. Create More Opportunities for Every Family: Offer volunteer opportunities that fit different schedules and lifestyles. We understand that many of our families are working parents, and we want everyone to have a way to contribute—even if they only have a few hours, can attend an event, or simply become a PTA member.

7. Grow PTA Membership & Participation: Build a strong PTA membership that represents the diverse families of Daly Elementary. Membership is not just about fundraising—it is about having a voice, staying connected, and investing in our children and our school.

8. Fund Meaningful Programs & Experiences: Use fundraising and donations responsibly to provide resources, activities, celebrations, and educational opportunities that directly benefit Daly students, teachers, and the school community.

9. Encourage Communication & Collaboration: Work closely with school administration, teachers, staff, families, and community partners to listen to concerns, share ideas, celebrate successes, and find ways to continuously improve the Daly experience.

10. Make Every Family Feel Like They Matter!

Our biggest goal is simple: We want every Daly family to know that they are an important piece of our PTA.

• You don’t have to attend every meeting.
• You don’t have to volunteer every week.

You simply have to believe that our children are worth showing up for.
